Work

So I love the money that I make, but I hate the job. My dad is always like "it's easy and you make a lot of money", but I don't necessarily like the easy way out of things! He always wonders why I don't take easy A's at school, but I like working for my grade instead of wasting my time in a boring class. I know I shouldn't be complaining about work, but I am. I'm greatful for my job, don't get me wrong! I just wish it was like part-time or something. Whenever I get home I'm too tired to do anything half the time, and the other half of the time there is no time to do what I wanna do. I enjoy doing this than sitting at home being bored, but I wanna go out and do things with my friends and enjoy the summer! But most of my friends are super busy so I would be just sitting at home, fighting with my brothers and sisters. But I would love to have more time to spend with Kelly, or any other friends that are leaving for college soon. But oh well. Don't get me wrong, I'm VERY greatful for my job and the money I'm making, but this is just a moment of complaining I've allowed myself to have. It's probably annoying to those who don't have a job and who sit at home doing nothing, who want a job.

(this picture was from a gas station we visted on out trip. Funny right?)

I would've loved to dance in the rain this morning, but I had to work :( and I usually miss the best weather, stuck inside with artifical light instead of enjoying the outdoors.

I'm thinking about giving my two weeks this Friday. So that way my last day will be the 17th of August. Then I'll have one week of summer, and then school will start on the 28th. What stinks is Kelly is moving on the 17th, so I'll be working while he is here, then right after he moves I'll be free! So stupid...I also found out that Kelly will not be flying in until Thursday or Friday so my awesome plan will have to wait! I hope he gets a flight where I can pick him up from the airport (because that's my awesome plan, and without that it'll fail!) We'll just have to see, but ya'll will have to wait with me to find out what my plan is, because it's secret and he cannot find out! But we'll have about two weeks together then he'll be gone :( I feel myself getting attached, and getting more involved. I have to stop where I am. Where I am is perfect, the point where I like him and nothing more. I CANNOT like him more than I do, or I will be in trouble! CANNOT!!!

He found out his sister is having a baby, and then we started talking about marrage. I think he'll be married in 5 years MAX (I don't think he'll be single that long, I mean he IS amazing! hah girls will sweep him up in a second!). It's all so close now! I mean last year when I thought about it, it seemed so far away! But now it seems so close at hand! My mom was married when she was 18, and I have 74 more day's until I'm 18. I don't know when I'll be married, but everything is happening so fast! I mean, senior year took FOREVER to get here! But I know it'll be gone in a flash and then I'll be at college! HOW WEIRD IS THIS!! I have friends gonig to college right now, and they'll be married soon! THIS IS ALL WEIRD AND HAPPENING SO FAST!! Where does the time go?!?

But today hasn't been the worst! I had some of the most amazing pancakes I've ever had this morning! We (my mom, sister, and I) went to Blueberry Hill Family Resturant/Pancake House after my 7am dentist appointment. I got four Oreo Pancakes, and man were they yummy!

With Wishfulness,
Chelsea Marie :)

I've always said that I want to marry my best friend, and this song just kind of reminds me of that want :)

This is also another cute song that Blake Shelton wrote for his wife! SO CUTE! :)

First Day Back

My first day back after the long weekend-I hate it. I didn't really wanna go back to work, but I have to. I really want a car because mine is crap! (People always put notes on my car saying they'll buy if we wanna sell and I'm like "I'M USING IT! IT'S MINE!" ... just a little possessive :P) and my parents don't have the money to buy me a new one, but I'd rather buy my own so I can take it to college with me! It would be awesome to have a car, and the schools that I really wanna go to allow freshman to have cars. I really don't like work though! I'd rather school over work! But I got up anyways. I couldn't go on my walk/run this morning because I had to curl my hair for my senior yearbook pictures after work (well...I didn't wanna wake up any earlier). I fell asleep at like 9:30 last night, but I woke up so tired! It was because most of my sleep for that night was make-up for all the sleep I missed on our trip.

No one in my family is a normal sleeper! I shared a bed with the worst sleeper we have-Brianna. She is very mobile in her sleep and was kicking me off the bed, she speeks gibberish in her sleep, she snores, and she grinds her teeth! It's so bad, that my jaw just hurts from listening/thinking about it! Her brain knows exactly when I turn over too, because whenever I would turn to face her, her head would move to me and she'd just start her snoring and grinding in my ear! So the last night, I couldn't sleep at all! So at 3 am my dad (who was still up) moved Cord in my mom's room (she was snoring pretty loud-2nd worst snorer in the family) because she was out, and Cord moves (2nd worst mover in the family). We all thought Mason was a pretty normal sleeper, but that's because Cord sleeps in his room and is never asleep after Mason falls asleep. Well it turns out Mason speaks (like actual words) and snores!! I probably only got like 2 hours of sleep that night. So I'm catching up, and I'm gonna be pretty tired until one night I can just go to bed really early, and sleep in really late.

At work, I kept messing things up and forgetting things. It was awful! I also had a HUGE stack of files from Bankruptcy that was left over from Friday. There were 26 files and it took me about 2 hours to make envelopes, labels, and to copy everything. I folded and stuffed 70 envelopes in 50 minutes, and posted them in about 35 minutes. That was most of my morning, and some of the afternoon.

After work, I headed off to Senior Yearbook Photos, which was quick and painful.

I'm just excited that today is almost over! Kelly is coming back (ADD DAY COMING BACK HERE)!! I'll pick him up from the airport (which will be fun because I have a plan, I'll post about it after!) I can't wait to spend some time with him! He's moving sooo soon :( but at least we have a few weeks to have fun! But not to get attached to eachother, hopefully...but I'm excited! :)

With Tiredness,
Chelsea Marie :)

This song has been stuck in my head, and the music video is cute! Enjoy

Cali Trip Day 3: Horses and Home

The night before, we had to have everything packed up because we would leave to ride horses and go straight to Vegas afterwards. We woke up, and finished packing and left for horse riding. My dad went on a bike ride while we rode horses. We got an hour of walking, while Cord and my mom did the petting zoo, and Cord even got to ride a cute little pony! I'm so glad we did the horses because I can now cross that off my summer list. We could only walk because of liability reasons, so I really wanna go like ride (trotting and running) a horse, but at least I got something! :) My horse, Dakota, was very fiesty! He kicked the horse that was behind him twice because he got too close. My sisters horse, Chico, was very slow! Nothing we did could make him go faster! My little brother had a good horse, the only girl in the group. There was another guy, who had a very sweet horse. My butt is BRUISED! It hurts from the horses, but it was so worth it :)

We then headed back to Vegas to end this wonderful weekend! It was a blast! I had a lot of fun! :) One trip I'll never forget! :)

With Satisfaction,

Chelsea Maire :)

Cali Trip Day 2: Big Bear Lake

We are staying in this cute cabin up in the mountains of California, in a little town called Big Bear. It also happen to boarder Big Bear Lake. In the morning we woke up and when to the alpline slide that was there. I had been on an alpline slide before in Park City, so I was interested on how this slide would be. At first, I just wanted to stay home because it just sounded lamed, but when we got there I found out it wasn't that bad.

After that, we went back to our cute little cabin, and ate lunch while watching the Olympics. When everyone had eaten and changed into their swimsuits, we headed down to Big Bear Lake. There was a place where you could rent jet skies or a boat. So we decided jet skies would be much more fun that just a boat. So we got two three-seater jet skies for an hour. It was so much fun!! We split up, the boys and my mom on one, the rest of us on the other. We soon found out that the two oldest childern and the father were too heavy for the jet ski. So two at a time went. First it was my sister and my dad, then it was my dad and I. When we went we would catch some air! The lake water was also freezing, and when it would hit my face it felt like a bunch of knives were stabbing me! I was also all over the place on the ski, holding on for dear life to my dad. Then my sister took me out, and I took her out. We actually did pretty good, even catching some air! :)

Cord is too cute

When our hour was up, we headed back to the cabin, and stopped by an actual pastery bakery on our way home! It was good! My mom, dad, and sister went shopping while I stayed home with the boy's, chilling. I even got some skype time with Kelly :) After they got home from shopping, we headed out to lunch at this burger joint. It was cute, and they had some good hot dogs! We put 6 straws into Cord's cup and we tried to drink out of it! It was really hard to do! Harder than you would think! When Cord would do it, he would almost choke. It was quite fun. We then headed back to the cabin and had ice cream, smores, and played games, but not before our pool tournament! I'm not very good at pool, so I didn't make it to the finals :( My dad got super competitive.

my cupcake with my dad's :)

Cali Trip Day 1: Knottsberry Farm

We were up and starting to get ready at 7:30. We left around 9 to embark on a two hour drive to get to Knotts. We got to the park around 11 and when you walk in there were Peanuts characters ready to take pictures.

We the sat down and made out a plan. My mom went off with the boys and my dad, sister, and I went on the Silver Bullet.

It was very windy and all over the place. It was a lot of fun though! We then met up with the family at Camp Snoopy.

These one's were around the Snoopy theater

This was a cute little kid ride. It just went up and down. I thought it was really cute!

This was the sign for the Snoopy store :)     This was above the Snoopy store.

This was set up for pictures. Snoopy was in front of it earlier, and I took a picture with him (all the pictures I took with him will be at the bottom)

                                                                         I really liked this :)

This was also another little kid ride that just went foward and back. Cord loved it.

This was another little kid ride. It was just airplanes.

Notice the Snoopy License plate?

My dad then took Cord on rides while my mom, brother, sister, and I went on the Sierra Sidewinder
It's actually a lot of fun. It looked really lame but it wasn't. Then my mom took Cord, and all four of us went on a few rides. We went on the Jaguar. It was kinda lame (see the temple there? That's it)

We also went on Montezooma's Revenge. It was one of the fastest rides I went on! It was soooo freaky and scary! You went up, on a loop, then up again and you didn't think you were gonna stop. Then you went backwards, past where you got on, up, and you didn't know if you were gonna stop again. It was soo freaky! During the first loop I blacked out because my blood sugar was REALLY low and it was so fast!!

Then we met up with my mom and got some dinner. We first were gonna go to Johnny Rockets, but the line was too long. So we went to some other place and got corn dogs and chicken fingers while my dad and sister got Panda Express. We then went on bumper cars! The bumper cars and Johnny Rockets were in the Boardwalk section of Knotts.

After bumper cars, we were near Charles M. Shultz Theater. It was 3:30 and the show started at 4. No one else wanted to go, so my dad took me while everyone else was off doing who knows what. It was awesome! The skaters were real professional! They were absolutely amazing! The first picture is the doors to the theater. The one of the blue cartoons are the walls. They had these! It was cool! :) I took a lot of pictures of the actual performance, but I'll just post a few!

They had a rain number, and rain came down! It was awesome :)

The top right number: the song "Baby" by Justin Bieber came on and the announcer announced "Now it's the time all you ladies have been waiting for...JUSTIN BEAGLE!" and it was snoopy with a wig! It was hilarious!!

After that, we caught up with my family at the Dragon Swing. When it would go really high ( I was surprised about how high it went!) my stomach would jump! It was scarier than a roller coaster because you get breaks where a roller coaster, it's all at once, then it's over. I was surprised that Cord went on it, and liked it! I was also proud of Mason that he went on roller coasters with us, and even scary ones that I was nervous for! Then my mom took Cord, and the rest of us headed for La Revolucion.
It was FREAKY! I hated when we were facing the ground because it freaked me out! We were like horizontal to the ground!! But when we were facing the sky, I felt like I was flying! I LOVED that part!! That was my last roller coaster of the day. After that was over, we all kinda split. I went off to the snoopy store to get me some snoopy stuff! This is what I got: a towel, stuffed snoopy with a letterman jacket:), a lanyard, keychain, and (of course) playing cards! :) (I tried to fix the pic, but it didn't work. turn your head sideways! sorry!) When I was buying the snoopy and towel, I was a few dollars short and the checkout lady was so nice and gave me a 10% discount on the towel so I gotta have it!! :D It made me so happy!! :)

After, we all met together to get funnel cakes and then we left! My dad got the biggest one (picture below) and man it was huge! I mean compare mine to his...and I couldn't even finish mine haha!  It was such a good day! I had A LOT of fun!! I was seriously in heaven! One of the best day's of my life!! And what was nice is that my family got along! No one lost their temper or argued :) It just made it awesome!

Here are all the pictures I took with Snoopy :)

With Pure Joy,
Chelsea Maire :)

P.S. since there are so many pictures, I'm not gonna post a video. Sorry they are so small, but I didn't want this post to be like 5 miles long haha
